Oxfordshire’s recycling centres were once among the best in the country and were easy to use, efficient, and trusted by residents. But the introduction of a booking system and proof of address checks has made it harder for people to do the right thing.
These unnecessary barriers risk reducing recycling rates, increasing pressure on other services, and even contributing to fly-tipping.
