The #passthetorch campaign is coming to Oxfordshire on Friday 1st April.
David Cameron, MP for Witney, recently launched the campaign in Witney and said:
“Designed and manufactured by apprentices right here in the Thames Valley, this torch is an effective symbol of the passing of skills and knowledge from one generation to the next.
“The greatest asset any employer has is their workforce. Investment in apprenticeships is not only an investment in the success and future of their business, but also a vital contribution to the continued strengthening of our economy.
“That is why we are committed to supporting 3 million quality apprenticeships over this Parliament – and this Thames Valley campaign will help achieve that goal.”
Time: 8am - 10am
Location: Darke & Taylor, Unit C9 Glyme Court, Langford Lane, Kidlington, Oxon OX5 1LQ.
