Simon Watson has lived in Carterton for 23 years and is proud to call it home. Working full time as an IT Operations Manager, he is used to managing large budgets, delivering results and making tough decisions. Since being elected to the Town Council in January 2025, Simon has quickly earned the confidence of colleagues, serving as Deputy Mayor and Chair of the Planning Committee. He is standing for District Council to keep delivering practical improvements for Carterton with safer streets, sensible development, and visible action with a clear focus on getting things done for local residents.
