Council reveals 20mph advertising costs

Oxfordshire County Council has now revealed how much the authority has spent on promoting its 20mph policy to residents across Oxfordshire after a question from a councillor to the council's cabinet.

People living in Bampton have been left baffled and angered after a series of 20mph signs were erected in confusing locations with some signs sprayed over leaving drivers unsure what speed limit is in place.

Involve residents in High Street future

In the Summer of 2022, Oxfordshire County Council were allocated £1.9 million towards the future of Witney High Street. So far the Liberal, Labour and Green coalition have only installed some signs.
